GLAZED LIMA BEANS & CARROTS

Prep time: 5 minutes
Cook time: 6 minutes

1 cup diced carrot
1/4 cup water
3 Tbsp. maple syrup
1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 can (15.25 oz.) S&W Lima Beans, drained
1/4 cup toasted chopped walnuts (optional)

1. Cook carrots in water in 9-inch skillet over high heat until water has evaporated (about 2 minutes).
2. Stir in syrup, butter and lemon juice. Cook over high heat, stirring occasionally, until thick and syrupy.
3. Stir in beans; heat through. Sprinkle with nuts, if desired.

4 to 6 servings
